I was with three friends, all in their 70s, today. One said that, at the weekend, she'd seen a white Bentley draw up outside the registry office. She'd paused to see the bride emerge but, to her surprise, out climbed two men on their way to their wedding.
The other friends said "Oh, how lovely!" These are older, conservative, conventional women. Times have changed, and so they should.
about time.

almost makes one believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Enlightenment is possible.
